Question : What is the reason for the two holes in the body of the core bit?
Answer : These holes are called “Reduction Pressure Holes”. The purpose of these holes is to release the water pressure build-up within the core during drilling applications to minimize blow-outs on the bottom of the stone.
Question : Can I use the Alpha® Wet Core Bit for CNC on electric and pneumatic polishers?
Answer : No. The Alpha® Wet Core Bit for CNC are designed only for CNC Machinery. The threads of the CNC Core Bit are 1/2” GAS Male thread.
Question : The Alpha® Wet/Dry Core Bits for hand-held applications have vacuum brazed diamonds on the outer core, why don’t the Alpha® Wet Core Bits for CNC have these?
Answer : Due to the precision of CNC machinery, there is no need for side protection on the CNC Core Bit.
