Answer : No. The Contour for Porcelain blade is only intended for use on the material for which it was designed. If you try to use this blade to cut marble or granite, you may experience a slow cutting ability since this blade is designed for cutting hard, dense porcelain slab material. This bond is not suited for cutting abrasive materials.

Answer : This blade is available in 4", 4-1/2" and 5” diameters.

Answer : The arbor size is 7/8”.
Question : What is the purpose of the side protection segments on both sides of the blade?
Answer : These segments assist the blades cutting ability to cut curved areas cleanly as well as grind away material to make a wider kerf, allowing the blade to make tighter radiuses. They also prevent undercutting.
Question : What is the maximum RPM this blade should be used at?
Answer : The maximum RPM for this blade is 12,200. This blade should not be used at RPM lower than 9,000.
Question : Can I plunge-cut using this blade attached onto the Alpha® AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutter?
Answer : Yes. When the Contour for Porcelain blade is mounted on the Alpha® AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutter, you can plunge cut with excellent control, since you can place the base of the stone cutter on the material to give you better stability.
