Question : Do Kirara pads work on granite and quartz surfaces?
Answer : . No it doesn’t. Kirara pads are designed for the limestone family such as marbles, travertines and decorative concrete surfaces.
Question : Why do Kirara pads have an indication of Pos. 1, Pos. 2 and Pos. 3?
Answer : This is a polishing system for maintenance which is not designed for grinding or sanding, so we kept the application simple and easy. We don’t recommend Kirara pads for use with other products for the restoration application.
Question : Does Kirara pad contain acid?
Answer : No it doesn’t so you don’t have to worry about acid burn on the surface even if the slurry dries up on the polished surface.
Question : Do I have to use a wet polisher with Kirara pads for the hand application?
Answer : No. You can use Kirara pads not only on a wet polisher but also on dry polishers and sanders such as a rotary polisher, dual-action sander and gear-action sander, etc.
Question : Can I use Kirara pads on a high-speed floor burnisher?
Answer : No. You can use Kirara pads not only on a wet polisher but also on dry polishers and sanders such as a rotary polisher, dual-action sander and gear-action sander, etc.
Question : How much pressure do I have to give to the Kirara pad?
Answer : You don’t have to give much pressure on the Kirara pad. We use ultra fine diamond grits with a special bonding system so that you should let the diamond work with minimal pressure.
