Question : Can I use Alpha® Pool Coping Kit on hard stone such as granite pavers?
Answer : Yes you can. Due to the hardness of granite pavers, #80 sandpaper may not be the most suitable sanding media. Alpha® also offers various Ceramica flexible diamond polishing discs to expedite the process.

Question : Can I use Alpha® Pool Coping Kit as a dry application?
Answer : No. If you use Alpha Profiler dry, it will build up heat and would destroy the nylon guide. Also, since we currently do not offer a dust shroud to collect dust, it will not be compliant with OSHA silica rules. Question : Travertine surface has been filled with resin but the when I created the bullnose profile on the edge, pores open up on entire edge. What can I do after profiling application?
Answer : Travertine Filler is widely available from your hardscape suppliers that must be applied to desired profiled edge prior to sanding process. After filler dry completely, you can continue sanding with #80 sandpaper to complete coping process.
